SELLING A HOME
Thinking about selling your home?
Tell me what you’re hoping to do after the sale. We can talk about what your home could sell for, what it would cost to sell, and how the timing could work for you.
Ask about my home’s value
Let’s start with your home.
I prepare the estimate using your home’s details and recent sales. It is not an appraisal or a guaranteed sale price.
- 01
What could it sell for?
I’ll look at recent sales and the other homes buyers can choose from now. Then I’ll explain the price I recommend for your home and why. I want you to understand how I got there.
- 02
What would I change before listing?
We’ll walk through your home together. I’ll tell you which repairs or updates I think are worth considering and what I’d leave alone. We’ll also talk about photos and how to handle showings while you’re still living there, if that applies.
- 03
How will we look at offers?
The highest price is worth a closer look, but so are the buyer’s conditions, the closing date, and your estimated costs. I’ll walk through those details with you and help negotiate the offer you want to move forward with.
Do you need to buy another home, too?
One of the first things we should talk about is where you’ll go after the sale. We’ll look at whether to sell or buy first, how the dates could line up, and what you could do if they don’t. If financing affects that decision, we can include your lender.
